On Thursdays, we visit the YMCA Play Center from 9 am to 11 am. This is a fun and safe place where the children can enjoy various games and activities.
During the summer, we extend our field trip days by also going to different locations, such as the Sutherlin Splash Pad, Whistlers Bend Park, Wildlife Safari, or the YMCA Play Center.
These trips will allow the children to experience nature, wildlife, and water play. We will usually leave at 8:30 am and return by 2:30 pm.
At Little Sweets Playcare, we value a regular and stable daily schedule for our little ones, so they can develop a sense of routine and order in our care.
However, being on a ranch and having a lot of toddlers also requires us to be flexible and creative at times.
One of the enjoyable activities that we do with the children is table-time, where they can express their creativity and imagination through coloring and painting.

This is the time when the children listen to some stories that are read by the teacher to prepare them for nap.

This is the time when the children have lunch that is packed by their parents. They must have an adequate lunch and include a protein source, such as meat, cheese, yogurt, etc. They can then play after they are finished eating.

This is the time when the children go outside and enjoy some physical activities, such as running, jumping, throwing, catching, balancing, or climbing.

This is the time when the children have snacks that are provided by the daycare or the parent.

This is the time when the children gather in a circle and participate in some group activities, such as singing songs, reciting rhymes, ABC's, counting, or listening to stories.

This is the time when the children can express their artistic skills through different mediums, such as painting, paper, clay, scissors, and more!

This is the time when the children go on a field trip to a different location, such as the YMCA, a park, or museum. Most days we will be back by noon, but occasionally with weather permitted we will be gone until 02:30 pm.

This is the time when the children can choose from a variety of games and toys that are available in the indoor play zone.

This is the time when the children arrive at the daycare and engage in some quiet activities, such as reading, puzzles, or blocks, or learning shows like Cocomellon. Breakfast cereal/snack is offered.

This is the time when the children help clean up the daycare space and their belongings.
