Welcome to Little Sweets Playcare, a full-time daycare center that offers a playful and fun learning environment for children of all ages. We are located between Roseburg and Glide, at the Enos Ranch, and we serve the surrounding areas as well. We believe that children learn best through having fun, which we do a lot, and by having ample hands-on activities that stimulate their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Our facility is equipped and furnished to provide age-appropriate activities that cater to the needs and interests of our children. We have a large outdoor play zone, where children can experience various different activities such as slides, swings, wall climbing, and trampoline. We have a large, fake turf, yard for running and expressing gross motor skills and we have an attached garden area where the kids can help plant and harvest. Along with it, we have an indoor play zone as well where kids can enjoy games and toys, such as dramatic play, manipulatives, puzzles, and blocks. This area is large enough for scooters, our monkey jump, and indoor slide. We also have a cozy reading corner, where children can relax and browse through our collection of picture books. 

Our Facility

Our small hobby ranch is a unique feature of our preschool center that sets us apart from others. We have a farm where children can experience the wonders of nature and life. They can feed and pet the chickens, pigs, mini horse, and sheep, and help collect eggs. They can also watch the cows and horses graze in the fields. Our ranch activities help children learn about animals, plants, food, and agriculture. They also teach them valuable skills such as cooperation, responsibility, and compassion.

Our Staff

Teacher Kara, AKA, Miss Kara or Tia, is the owner and head teacher at Little Sweets Preschool.

In addition to the items listed above, Teacher Kara has an Associates Degree in Early Education and over ten years of experience running a preschool/daycare. Kara is also a step level 9 in ORO. In addition, she has multiple other trainings: 

  • Applying a Developmental and Contextual Lens to Foster Equity in Guiding Behavior

  • Encouraging Project Based learning activities.: Books are a terrific way to inspire STE(A)M learning

Teacher Kara - Owner

​Miss Lisa is our daycare grandma! She always shows up with a bag of goodies for all the kids and spoils them the entire time she is here! Miss Lisa will occasionally tag along on field trips or fill in as a substitute.
