Our toddler program focuses on helping children develop their language and cognitive skills by providing them with rich and stimulating materials and experiences. They get to play with sensory bins and build with magnetic tiles! We read simple stories to them and provide sturdy picture books for them to look at. The books reflect their languages, cultures, and families. We also sing songs, recite rhymes, and play word games with them. Children in this age bracket will start to learn their ABC's and how to count.
Playing is a fun and engaging way to explore and discover the natural world in children.

Preschool (3-5 year olds)

Our preschool program helps children develop their social and emotional skills by teaching them how to cooperate, share, take turns, express feelings, and resolve conflicts. Our providers are qualified and caring professionals who create a warm and supportive atmosphere where every child feels valued and respected.

Literacy: We help our children develop their language and communication skills by exposing them to a variety of texts, such as books, poems, songs, and stories. At the end of this program children should be able to recite their ABC's, count to 20, know their basic shapes and colors, and be able to write their name.

Art and crafts: We foster our children's creativity and imagination by providing them with various materials and tools to create their own artworks. We love painting, collage, and other art projects!

Physical play: We promote our children's physical health, fitness, and coordination by offering them opportunities to move their bodies in different ways. We have a brand new outside area for nice days, a big inside play area for rainy days, and the YMCA Play Gym 1-2 days a week!

Farm work: We often take our preschoolers on a nature walk throughout the Enos Ranch where they can experience the wonders of nature and life. They learn to care and appreciate animals, and experience the joy of being with them. They also get to help collect eggs and plant/harvest things in the garden! They can learn about the origins of food and the importance of agriculture.

Sensory play: We help our toddlers use their senses and develop their fine motor skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities through playing with slime, sand, water, playdough, magnetic tiles, and sensory bins!
